Ms. Garner graduated from Gadsden Business College in May 1999 as an Office Specialist. She began work with Industrial Material Handling in Albertville as an intern. This quickly turned into a full time position that she held until moving to Sanmina-SCI in Huntsville as an Administrative Assistant.
In 2003 she became the Visual Art Program Secretary here at Alabama A&M.
She has many hobbies which include: aerobics, knitting, hiking, fishing, camping and outdoor photography. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family.
