Undergraduate Admission, Retention & Completion (ARC)

Bookmark and Share

The ARC Process is the approved process for all candidates who are pursuing degrees leading to professional teacher certification.  This process includes the following:

  • Step I:    Admission to Teacher Education (Admission)

  • Step II:    Retention in Teacher Education & Requirements to Enter the Internship (Retention)

  • Step III:    Completion, Graduation & Certification (Completion)

All teacher education majors should read the ARC process requirements and become familiar with them.  Your academic advisor, program coordinator, and department chairperson can assist you with questions, but the Office of Teacher Education & Certification (OTEC) is always glad to assist as well.  Candidates are ultimately responsible for gathering and presenting the required documentation at each step of the three-step process.
