  • ​​​Contact with the US Embassy in China will be established regarding our China program by providing the name and contact information of the program directors and participants.

  • ​​​All participants will be required to carry individual insurance (medical evacuation/treatment, travel insurance) of their own; we will alert them to the possible need for repatriation and medical evacuation and encourage them to look into these special coverages (websites will be provided). 

  • Students will be briefed at AAMU about the safety and security issues related to the trip, and the rules and regu​lations for traveling abroad to China.

  • Students are encouraged to bring a cellular phone with international coverage and texting capabilities. 

  • Students are required to travel in groups of at least two individuals.

  • Students need to follow a nightly reporting system to ensure the return of everyone before the allowed time.​
