RESEARCH AREA

·         My current concentration is Food/Nutritional Biochemistry and Toxicology.  My proposed thesis is entitled “Effects of herbal tea consumption on adult rats: A Toxicological and Biochemical Study.” With this research, I am discovering the possible toxic effect of various herbal teas, when taken in high doses.  Other published works suggest that some herbal teas can lead to liver damage, renal failure, and other adverse effects when excess amounts are consumed.
