Accepted Students: Next Steps

 

 

STEP 1

​PAY YOUR ENROLLMENT RESPONSE FEE

You must pay this fee to confirm your intent to attend the university.  You may pay online or by mail. CLICK HERE to pay your Enrollment Fee Online today.  Take this action as soon as possible, as this step is a critical step.



STEP 2


​COMPLETE YOUR FAFSA ONLINE

January 1, 2014 is the earliest date that you can complete the FAFSA.  Complete it as soon as possible after that date.  Completing the FAFSA in a timely manner is critical to receiving federal funds such as FSEOG, Federal Work-Study and more.  These funds are limited and awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis.

STEP 3

RESERVE YOUR CAMPUS HOUSING

You must complete the Housing Application online to reserve your campus housing. Freshman students are required to reside on campus. Exceptions are granted only under specific circumstances. Please also know that institutional scholarships that include room and board awards require on-campus housing. Normal Hills apartments are considered to be “Off-Campus” housing.

 

STEP 4

STUDENT ORIENTATION AND REGISTRATION

S.O.A.R. provides an opportunity to become acquainted with the campus, administrators and student leaders. During this period, you will take the COMPASS test to determine your readiness to enroll in college level courses. The test will measure your skill levels in English, Reading, Elementary Algebra and college level math. Also, while attending SOAR, you will meet with an academic advisor to create your class schedule.  S.O.A.R. is a 2-day event.

STEP 5

PAY YOUR TUITION AND FEES

The university offers Financial Aid assistance and Payment Options for your convenience:

Option 1: Pay balance in full with cash, check, money
                   order, VISA or  MasterCard.

Option 2: Pay balance with a combination of Financial Aid
                   and cash.

Option 3: Pay balance monthly using Tuition Management
