SUMMER PROGRAM FROM MAY 28 TO JULY 19, 2013
In summer 2013, Alabama A&M University (AAMU), through funding from NSF's Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program, will provide undergraduates with opportunities to engage in scientific research focused on the effects of heavy urbanization on a variety of ecological processes in Nanjing, China.
AAMU has partnered with Nanjing Forestry University (NFU) in Nanjing, China, to provide a unique international research experience. AAMU's REU program is a nine week paid research internship held primarily at NFU in China. This program will accomodate up to ten undergraduate students, who will work closely with AAMU and NFU faculty and graduate students on a diverse range of ecological projects related to urbanization.
Students have already been selected for the 2013 program. If you are interested in applying for our 2014 program, please visit our Research Focal Areas to determine if you are interested in any of the possible research areas, and contact Dr. Elica Moss at reu.china@aamu.edu.
