​The Army ROTC scholarship program provides financial assistance for the education and training of highly qualified and motivated young men and women who desire to be commissioned in the Army after graduation from college.

Whether you're a college-bound high school student, a currently serving soldier desiring to be an officer or a college student, The Army ROTC has scholarships available for YOU!  Scholarships are awarded based not on one's financial need but on merit and your academic grades.  The ROTC program features full-tuition scholarships that include additional allowance pay for books and fees as well as a monthly stipend of up-to $500!


Recruiting and Enrollment

ENROLLMENT CRITERIA: Must be enrolled at A&M, UAH, Athens, or Oakwood University


Must Pass Army Physical Fitness Test; Must pass DODMERB Physical Examination: Must meet Height & Weight Requirements: Must pass personal Back Ground Check: Must be of Good Moral Character & Must Be willing to Serve. Must meet Age Requirements-17-31 for Scholarship Cadets and 17-34 for Non-Scholarship.

ROTC Scholarship Opportunites for Grad Students 

Alabama A&M University Army ROTC allows Graduate Students to enroll in ROTC while pursuing their Graduate Degree. Graduate Students can earn their Masters Degree and simultaneously earn a Army Commission as a Second Lieutenant within two years. Contact the ROTC Enrollment Officer for 2 Year Scholarship Information for Graduate Students


LTC (Leaders Training Course) Scholarship Information

Undergraduate Students classified as Juniors & Graduate Students can still earn their commission as an officer by attending the Leadership Training Course at Fort Knox Kentucky.

ROTC SMP Program

Simultaneous Membership Program ROTC offers a great way to contract with ROTC Program, to Earn Financial Benefits that help pay for college and cadets can earn their commission as Second Lieutenant. Cadets can join the Army National Guard or Army Reserve while in college and be enrolled in ROTC Program , Simultaneously.  SMP Program provides Tuition Assistance, Montgomery GI Bill, & Monthly Drill Pay to assist student in paying for college. SMP Program also has GFRD 3 Year & 2 Year Scholarships Available to Cadets.


Army ROTC Nursing Program
