How do I subscribe to Bulldog Alerts: Emergency Notification Messages

To subscribe to Bulldog Alerts, you must login to Self-Service Banner and update your contact information per the instructions below. 

 

Procedures for updating your Phone Information in order to receive Bulldog Alerts:

 
  1. Click on the Personal Information Tab after you login to Banner Self-Service
  2. Click on the Update Addresses and Phones menu item
  3. Under Mailing Address – click on the word Current to update your personal information (mailing address & phone information)
  4. In the field Primary Phone Number for this address - enter the phone number that is used as your home phone number. This can be a land line or mobile phone.
  5. Under Phone Type - select Cell Phone from the drop down menu and enter your cell number
  6. Faculty & Staff -- Under Phone Type - also select Campus and enter your office telephone number - REQUIRED

Procedures for updating your Email Address in Banner to receive Bulldog Alerts:

 

1. Login to Self-Service Banner

2. Click on the Personal Information Tab after you login to Banner Self-Service

3. Click on the Update Email Addresses menu item

4. Select Type of Email to Insert

    - Students -- select Bulldogs.aamu.edu Email

    - Faculty/Staff -- select AAMU Faculty/Staff Email  and enter your

 

5. Follow procedures to insert Email address and press submit
