EBSCOHOST Electronic Journals provides access to over 500 full text journals subscribed to by the Learning Resources Center. The service may be used to go straight to a particular title or as a database of article references through the Article Search option. Users are also allowed access to the table of contents and abstracts to thousands of e-journals not subscribed to by the LRC. Access: On and Off-campus (requires authentication)


ETHNIC NEWSWATCH Ethnic Newswatch is information on news, culture and history from 200 publications of the ethnic, minority and native press. Approximately 350,000 complete articles dating back to 1995 are available with archival material dating back to 1985. More than 7,500 new articles are added each month. The database is searchable in both English and Spanish, with titles in both languages.


GreenFILE,a freely accessible research database focusing on the relationship between human beings and the environment, with well-researched but accessible information on topics ranging from global warming to recycling to alternate fuel sources and beyond. Comprised of scholarly and general interest titles, as well as government documents and reports, GreenFILE offers a unique perspective on the positive and negative ways humans affect the ecology.


ISSUES AND CONTROVERSIES NATIONAL ISSUESNational Issues presents the pros and cons of major national issues. Currently the site covers education, social security, gun control, taxes, foreign policy and defense. Access Restrictions: None


NEWSBANK  Infoweb includes the online databases NewsBank NewsFile Collection and Business NewsBank. NewsBank NewsFile Collection makes available articles from about 500 newspapers and wire services that include Knight-Ridder, Reuters, Southam, U.S. News Wire, and the Congressional Record. Business NewsBank gives full-text coverage of business topics from sources such as Business Wire and Boston Business Journal, as well as general newspapers.
