Launched in February 2012, Alabama A&M’s Advancement Call Center is dedicated to the advancement of Alabama A&M University by generating private support while bringing past and current students together in conversation—free to reminisce about a favorite professor, an unforgettable campus dance, or a championship game. These conversations rekindle the connections between alumni and the university.
Student callers play an important role strengthening relationships between alumni and friends and the university. As student callers work for the Calling Center, they not only raise money for AAMU, but they also learn the importance of giving back.
Taking the time to speak with a student caller means:
•You can ask questions about what’s going on at Alabama A&M and hear about special events on campus, including the latest news about your college.
•You can update your records as alumni or friends of AAMU to help us ensure that our data is current.
•You are giving an AAMU student the ability to hone their communication skills and learn more about life outside of the university.
•You allow our students to learn, first-hand, the importance of giving back to AAMU.
Located on campus at 302 Patton Hall, each student caller participates in an extensive interview and training process prior to making their first phone call.

If you are a current energetic AAMU student who is willing to work at least two nights a week and has a passion for Alabama A&M, you may be an ideal candidate for the Advancement Calling Center team.
