Transfer Student
Once you have completed your application for admission, please request that the registrar of each institution which yo have attended forward an official copy of your transcript to the Office of Admissions. An official copy of your transcript(s) must be in our office by the deadline date stated for application in the section above, except from those school(s) in which the applicant is currently enrolled. Transfer students must have maintained a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 at the last institution attended. Students who have 12 transferable credit hours or equivalent quarter hours of acceptable academic credit at the college or university level may be admitted to AAMU as transfer students. Students with fewer than 12 transferable credit hours will be admitted as a high school graduate; and must request their high school transcript and ACT/SAT scores; however, appropriate hours will count toward the AAMU degree.
