BTS shuttle buses will run continuously throughout the day and will resume service during anytime there is activity on campus.
No tickets, money, or reservations are needed. Students, faculty, and staff should park their cars in the color-coded parking lots, and they can walk or ride the BTS to any point on campus. The buses will run Monday though Friday.
The Department of Transportation is located in Patton Hall, Room 315. Office hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Bulldog Transit System is owned by Alabama A&M University Transportation Department and is overseen by the Office of the Vice-President of Student Affairs.

Routes will be serviced as follows:
7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday – Friday
Bulldog (Elmore Gym, West, Quad): Continuous loop
Drake (Foster, Terry, Quad): This bus will depart every 15 minutes from Foster Complex.
7:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. Monday – Thursday and 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Friday
Councill (Normal Hills): This bus will depart every 20 minutes from Normal Hills.
7:30 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. Monday - Thursday and 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Friday
Paratransit: Continuous loop
Additional Routes will be added during the peak hours of 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

West Campus, Quad, Terry
10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Foster, Quad, Parker
From 6:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Monday- Thursday, BTS will decrease the operating fleet to 2 buses. There will be a maximum average wait time of 25 minutes. The two night buses will service the Councill (Normal Hills), Drake, and Bulldog routes. Please note: The Normal Hills bus will stop running at 7:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday. The Paratransit will continue to service the Campus and Normal Hills until 11:00 p.m. Monday - Thursday.
All buses will stop running at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
Let's Go Shopping!
Every Friday at 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. the BTS will transport students to Madison Square Mall, Walmart, and Target. The bus will return back to campus by 6:00 p.m. Tickets are available Monday - Thursday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and on Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. in the AAMU DOT Office, 315 Patton Hall. There is no charge for the Mall trip, but you must have a ticket to ride. Also, there is a minimum requirement of 20 passengers for the trip, so call up your friends and "let's go shopping".
