Ever-tightening resources have become the reality for most institutions. Campuses have to figure out how to effectively utilize their assets. Retention Modeling is an effective way of using the data we gather from students through the admissions and enrollment processes, along with the survey data identifying psycho-social factors, which the literature suggests have predictive value. The research strongly implies that targeted early intervention improves student success outcomes for these students. This webinar will guide participants through the process of developing a model, implementing a data-driven intervention, and assessing that intervention. Through analyzing the data, campuses can identify students more likely to achieve lower levels of academic success and direct customized, early interventions designed to change their success trajectory.
