History

The Ernest L. Knight Living and Learning Complex was constructed in 2006. It is named after one of Alabama A&M University's most generous donors, Dr. Ernest L. Knight. A native of Evergreen, Alabama, Dr. Knight graduated from A&M in 1953, with a B.S. in Agriculture before moving on to pursue his doctorate degree. Dr. Knight never forgot his roots, and he has given back to his alma mater admirably.
