Early in the fall semester, Career Development Services sponsors Career Preparedness Week (CPW). CPW is a program designed to prepare AAMU students for active participation in the upcoming CDS-sponsored career fairs and on-campus recruiting events. It entails Resume Critiques, Mock Interviews, Workforce Readiness Workshops and a Business Etiquette Luncheon. These workshops, presented by local volunteer employers, have covered such topics as:
