Residential life is campus life. It encompasses all aspects of living in a community with people who share a common purpose. It’s about all experiences outside of the classroom. The idea of residential life describes the intentional way that all out-of-class experiences on a residential campus advance the idea of a meaningful education.
AAMU’s residential communities promote individual responsibility and accountability. The development of a community within a diverse world requires that individuals respect and learn from one another. Members if the community come to know each other and are accountable to them, creating safe and comfortable living environments supportive of the mission of Alabama A&M.
