Admission Requirements to Teacher Education
- Must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.50 prior to enrolling in FED 200
- Must clear fingerprint background check
- Must purchase LiveText
- Complete application to teacher education and submit to Teacher Service Center
- Sub health record form (negative TB skin test or chest x-ray)
- Must pass Speech/Language/Hearing Screening
- Tests required by the Alabama State Department of Education (for detailed information refer to www.alsde.edu) (APTTP), (Praxis II Test, except Collaborative Teacher 6-12 prior to internship)
