Federal and Private Student Loans

Step 1.
Funds are received from Sallie Mae on each Wednesday (except on holidays and/or during school closings).

Step 2.
Student funds are posted to student accounts on the following Thursday night. Refund checks are generated for those students whose aid exceeds the amount due to the University.

Step 3.
Refund checks and direct deposits are mailed or sent via EFT to students/banks on each Friday.

**Please note that refund checks will not be released early! Refund checks and EFTs will be sent according to the University's published disbursement schedule.**

Federal Pell Grants and Scholarships
Federal Pell Grants and certain university scholarships are applied to each students' account every Tuesday and Thursday nights. If you are receiving a Federal aid and Scholarships, and you are entitled to a refund you must complete a Request for a Refund Form. You may download the form here or you may request one in the Business Office.

Federal Work-Study
Students awarded Federal Work-Study are paid monthly. Federal Work-Study students are paid no later than the 10th of each month. Students have the option of having their funds mailed or sent via EFT. If outstanding balances are owed, students may also sign up for the payroll deduction program in the Office of Collections.

Student Employment (Formerly Known as Bi-Weekly)
Students receiving student employment related funds are paid every two weeks. Students have the option of having their funds mailed or sent via EFT. If outstanding balances are owed, students may also sign up for the payroll deduction program in the Office of Collections.
