 Welcome to the website of Alabama A&M University (AAMU) School of Graduate Studies. As a land-grant university with a 125 year old history, AAMU offers graduate degrees at the Masters and PhD levels in such fields as agriculture, business administration, computer science, education, physics, social work, urban and regional planning, and others. Excellence in graduate education is a vital part of our mission and is supported by the dedication of our talented, diverse, and productive faculty. The graduate student population makes up approximately 20% of the student body or about 1300 students. Graduate students who complete our programs successfully are perfectly positioned to enter into exciting professional careers with industry, government, and academia.

Please note: Admission to the Graduate Program will occur twice annually, in the Summer, and in the Fall. There will be no Spring admission." Note also that the MSW program only admits students in the summer semester (for the week-end program and the advanced standing program) and the fall semester (for full time and part time programs).
