RE:            New AAMU Banner ID and PIN for Fall 2009                 Registration

The Registration and Academic Advisement period will begin on Monday, April 13, 2009 thru Thursday, April 30, 2009. Every student will be issued an AAMU Banner ID and PIN. In order to access your AAMU Banner ID and PIN:  

Go to the AAMU home page: http://www.aamu.edu

(NOTE: THIS LINK WILL BE EFFECTIVE STARTING THE FIRST DAY OF REGISTRATION.)

1.  Click on Current Students

2.  Click Get Your New Banner SSB ID and PIN

3.  Enter your last four (4) digits of your SSN.

4.  Select Month, Day and Year of birthday.

5.  Spell out your last name.

6.  Type your AAMU e-mail address. (eg. john.public@mailserver.aamu.edu)

7.  No other e-mail address will be accepted.

8.  Type your e-mail password.

9.  Click "E-mail me my Banner ID/PIN number" button and Check your e-mail.

**In addition to the Banner SSB ID and PIN, students must see their Academic Advisors before registering for their courses to obtain an Advising (Alternate) PIN. This PIN is required to schedule courses for the registration term.**

This user guide will provide assistance in course registration, viewing the class schedule and viewing any holds that will prohibit you from registering for courses.

The Student Self-Service Registration will be accessible through the Current Students link on the Alabama A&M University’s homepage.
