Upperclassmen/Returning Students

Residential Life and Housing has assigned all upperclassmen/returning students who fully met the criteria above by May 5, 2017, the priority deadline. As a reminder, if you desire housing but did not fully meet the above criteria before the priority deadline to receive a room assignment, you may add yourself to the Priority Consideration List through your Self-Service Banner account, clicking the housing link under the student tab. We cannot guarantee housing for students on the Priority Consideration List; however, as housing becomes available, assignments are made in consecutive orderbased on the date of your request.

Incoming Freshmen

There are a limited number of spaces available for incoming freshmen, and will be

assigned to those who fully meet the criteria on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you have not applied for housing, please e-mail Residential Life and Housing

( your name, A-Number, and a contact number to confirm

availability and receive approval for payment of fees.

While the University desires to provide students an opportunity to live on campus,

assignments cannot be made in excess of the maximum beds available.

Unlike previous years, Alabama A&M University will not provide temporary/short-term accommodations for students who failed to meet the criteria noted above by the priority deadline. In the event of a situation in a residential facility beyond the

University’s control, e.g., natural disaster, unforeseen maintenance/repair, or the like, the University will provide temporary/short-term accommodations for affected students who met the criteria and received an assignment, only.
