Who should attend?
· New full-time faculty members
· Full-time faculty members who have been at the institution for a year or two but who have not received this kind of training
· Prospective full-time faculty members, especially adjuncts who are seeking tenure-track positions
· Department chairs and other mid-level administrators who closely supervise new faculty members
· Experienced full-time faculty members who serve, or wish to serve, as mentors for new faculty

Final Collection of Surplus Phones
The Department of Property Management will operate a final retrieveal of surplus phones from all buildings Monday, September 10. We request that the phones be placed in an empty box and placed outside your office door for easy handling and fast pick-up. Departments are also encouraged to have the phones at a central location if possible.

Swipe Card Deactivation
The card access database system is being updated.
· Employees who have opted for general parking ($75 parking decal), please surrender the swipe card to Room 315 Patton Hall because it will be deactivated. If you choose to upgrade your parking, a swipe card will be reissued to you.
· If you have not purchased a 2012-2013 parking decal by SEPTEMBER 14, 2012, your swipe card will be deactivated.

AAMU Invited to 'The BIG Marketing Event'
We're all responsible for the successful marketing of our organizations. It's more important than ever to set aside some time to recharge and refresh our marketing strategies and tactics.
That's why you need to be at The BIG Marketing Event on Thursday, September 20. WBCNA and the Public Relations Council of Alabama (PRCA) have partnered to offer a full day of marketing and public relations training.
