Huntsville, Ala. ---- A festive event aimed at improving campus beautification efforts at Alabama A&M University will enter its second year on Friday, March 1, at the Ernest L. Knight Center at 7 p.m.  DWTP.jpg

“Dancing with the President and First Lady” will continue as one of The Hill’s most anticipated events of the spring, as AAMU President Andrew Hugine, Jr., and First Lady Abbiegail Hugine have raised the bar for 2013.  Several couples will compete in what organizers call a “spectacular evening of dancing.”

The semi-formal event will feature couples performing diverse dance routines in a manner similar to television’s popular “Dancing with the Stars” format. Proceeds will benefit campus beautification efforts, and a portion will be tax-deductible.

Attendees will cheer for their favorite couple and help support a good cause. Doors will open at 6 p.m. Ticket prices for the activity are $10 for students, $25 each.  A VIP table seating 10 can be purchased for $300 through February 15.

For additional information on tickets, call (256) 652-6948.
