Huntsville, Ala. ---- Sometimes, working toward a college degree requires extra initiative and extra expense. For members of Alabama A&M University’s Pre-Law Club, dealing with some of those extras has gotten a little easier.
Thanks to the diligence of the Club’s advisors, Diane Wilkinson and Dr. Ronald
Slaughter, Department of Social Sciences, students will be able to attend the Atlanta Law Forum scheduled in early November. The advisors were able to secure $5,373 as part of the diversity initiative of the Pennsylvania-based Law School Admission Council. The funds will help Club members meet some of the expenses associated with traveling to and attending the forum.
The more than 30 members of the Club receive the LSAT exam preparation needed to gain admittance to law schools, as well as additional support through workshops and other programs pertaining to the law profession.
