ACADEMIC SUCCESS ASSISTANCE PROGRAM, ASAP
ASAP is a program designed specifically to enhance the success of students at AAMU from freshmen to sophomore year and have a positive impact on the universities overall graduation rates. Any student can benefit from the services we offer, however, our primary objective is with providing services for students who are conditionally admitted and students on academic alert. More often these are students that need the support of this program to become fully prepared for the college experience.

- Assistance with developing study skills strategies
- Assistance with deciding on an appropriate college major
- Assistance with becoming acclimated to the university
- Assistance with student advocacy
- Assistance with understanding university policy and procedures
- Assistance with getting connected with appropriate campus resources
- Assistance with monitoring academic progress throughout the first academic year
