General Information

Student organizations are an essential part of Alabama Agricultural & Mechanical University.  They provide students with a variety of opportunities to explore their academic, professional, political, social, cultural, recreational, spiritual, and community service interests.   Student organizations allow students to develop interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills in a supportive yet challenging evnvironment.

Although the academic life is centered in the classrooms, the laboratories, and the learning resources center, the total college experience of the student encompasses much more.  With over 115 registered student organizations, the general purpose of the Office of Student Activities is to creatively, actively, and mentally challenge students in a positive and efficient manner.  Student Activities aims to engage students in diverse atmospheres that broaden their prospective leadership qualities.

"Being involved" is a understatement at Alabama A&M University.  We are building leaders to inspire others, to uplift the school, support the community, and ultimately change the world.
