GRADUATION CHECK SHEETS Print your AAMU academic record from the Student Information System (SIS). Select the appropriate Graduation Check Sheet below. This is determined by the years of the AAMU Bulletin that you are using. Export the spreadsheet into the Excel application by clicking once inside the spreadsheet to activate the window and then clicking the 3rd button from the right at the top of the spreadsheet (The button has a green X with a pencil on it). Fill out the top portion of the form. Input your grades and hours earned from AAMU. DO NOT alter the courses listed on the Graduation Check Sheet. These are the REQUIRED courses for your degree. For officially transferred credits, enter a grade of 'T' and the hours earned in the "Trans" column. Save an electronic version as an MS Ofc Excel workbook and print a hard copy of the spreadsheet as you will need these during your matriculation at AAMU. To fit the spreadsheet on one page when printing: Go to file > page setup > orientation > select landscape and then go to scaling > select 'fit to 1 pg wide by 1 tall.' Add your grades/hours electronically to the Check Sheet when you get them each semester and the Check Sheet will calculate your GPA for you. Take both versions (hard copy & electronic) of your updated Graduation Check Sheet with you EACH time you visit your advisor.

TRANSIENT STUDENT A Transient Student Form (TSF) should be completed when you wish to attend another institution while earning a degree at AAMU and the institution is not part of the Visiting Student Agreement.
Submit the Transient Student Form to the Registrar prior to the first day of registration at the attending institution. You must earn a grade of 'C' or better in order to transfer the credit back to AAMU. The sum total of semester credit hours taken at both institutions during a term cannot exceed the maximum allowed at AAMU. AAMU will not accept credits while a student is on academic suspension. A Course Substitution Form has to be completed after the transferred credit are submitted to AAMU by the Registrar of the institution that granted the credit(s). Only after the AAMU Registrar has approved the courses listed on the Course Substitution Form are the credits officially accepted as credit toward graduation at AAMU.
