Mission

The mission of the Agricultural and Environmental Sciences Research Program at Alabama A&M University is to conduct both basic and applied scientific research programs that are designed to:

Improve the productivity of agricultural and natural resource systems in the State of Alabama and the nation, while maintaining a quality environment.

Develop new and improved agricultural and natural resources techniques that will be beneficial to the people of Alabama, the nation and other countries.

Improve the socioeconomic status of urban and rural residents in the state of Alabama.
