
Alabama A&M University Student and Faculty Research Exchange To China
The Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences (NRES) at Alabama A&M University is offering a summer research experience for undergraduate students and faculty that will expand global perspectives and provide research opportunities through cultural, educational, and research interactions with Chinese students and faculty at Nanjing Forestry University (NFU). This USDA funded program will provide opportunities to develop students' global awareness, perspectives, and experiential learning to enhance their competitiveness. Each year four students and four faculty from the School of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences will visit NFU for exchange, language and cultural training, visit research facilities, and conduct collaborative research in agricultural and environmental sciences.

The program will include:
• Language and cultural training
• Visiting research facilities
• Field trips
• Conducting research in agricultural, biological, and environmental sciences
