Welcome to the Department of
Electrical Engineering at Alabama A&M
University! The EE Department offers courses
leading to the ABET Accredited Bachelor of Science (B.S.)
Degree in three concentration
areas;
and, a Masters of
Engineering degree
in;
The
EE Department is housed in a modern building with
state-of-art classroom and laboratory facilities. AAMU is
located in Huntsville Alabama, one of the premier high
tech areas in the
nation.
The
department faculty, many of whom have years of experience
in industry, government, and teaching, give considerable
attention to the individual student.
Scholarship, work study, internship, and summer
employment opportunities are available for qualified
students.
Our EE graduates are sought after
by government and leading high tech industries. Employers
of our recent graduates include: IBM, TVA, Intel, Alabama
Power, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, US Army, US Air Force,
Chrysler, NASA, Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Texas
Instruments, Northrop Grumman, Toyota, Siemens,
Booz-Allen, CIA, Honda, Boeing, MCI,
etc.
The AAMU School of Engineering and
Technology is the first in the nation to offer a Master's
of Engineering Degree in Materiel Engineering. This
program is open to all qualified applicants with
engineering degrees.
