Forty (40) students received Certificates of Completion, along with $1,000 stipends, for successfully completing Step 1 (twice weekly virtual lecture/workshop sessions to impart knowledge on DoD Modernization Priorities and to improve and enhance students' career readiness skills). Twenty-nine (29) students received Certificates of Completion, along with $6,000 stipends, for successfully completing Step 2 (hands-on, 8-week summer internship with Alabama A&M University-based faculty mentors involved in DoD Modernization Priority areas).

The students who successfully completed Step 2 are being considered for Step 3 (DoD Internships and employment).  Students’ resumes are being reviewed by several DoD Agencies.  Step 1 of Year-2, which will include students from Navajo Technical University and University of Houston, Victoria, begins soon.
