A master’s student in computer science at Alabama A&M University has secured a coveted internship with an exciting gaming company.

Omogbolade Ajayi will participate in an internship program with Activision Blizzard.  Advised by Dr. Ed Pearson, Ajayi is on the thesis track, and his research focuses on front-end development for virtual and augmented reality.

Activision Blizzard creates interactive gaming and entertainment experiences, immersing players in new, unimagined worlds and countless ways to play within them. Known for creating communities that bring people together with purpose and belonging, Activision Blizzard “makes every day more fun with games” from Candy Crush™, Call of Duty®, and World of Warcraft® to Overwatch®, Hearthstone®, and Diablo®.

During his 9-week internship, Ajayi will be a front-end development Intern.  He will relocate to Santa Monica, Calif., for the internship, which begins June 13.
