Charlie M. Barnes, a proud alumnus of Alabama A&M University, is deeply committed to giving back and supporting future generations of students. A regular presence on campus, Barnes most recently returned for the Golden Celebration of the Class of 1974 during the University's May 2024 Commencement. This time-honored tradition brings alumni back to campus to mark 50 years since their graduation, where they once again cross the stage to receive a Golden Certificate from the President, commemorating their connection to A&M.
