Creativity Captured on the Walls of the Morrison Building

April 09, 2021

Highlighting talented artists

The essence of the Visual, Performing and Communication Arts program at Alabama A&M University is finding permanency on the walls of the R.D. Morrison Fine Arts Building, thanks to the coordination of graphics design professor Tamika D. Williams.

One mural, in particular, says Williams, highlights black artists, along with the curricular offerings of the program.  The work features two graphic designers, two photographers, two sculptors and two painters—“Everything we do in the Visual Arts program,” notes Williams.

For additional information about the project, contact Professor Williams at (256) 372-4076 or tamika.williams@aamu.edu.
