Out of 26 teams from universities from across the Tennessee Valley, AAMU and 14 other teams beat the S&P 500 Total Tax Return Index for calendar year 2023. That means they beat the market, getting higher investment returns than the S&P stock index, the most common benchmark for overall stock performance.
