Alabama A&M University officially welcomed new students during the annual Freshman Torch Lighting ceremony Saturday. Thousands of polo-dawned freshmen filled the main floor and seats of the AAMU Event Center to start their journeys during the traditional passing of the torch to new Bulldogs.
