OUR NEWSLETTER IS HERE!
We want to feature your work!
All A&M students are welcome to submit their creative works for publication in the newsletter, with the understanding that The “Write Place” staff reserves the right to accept or reject submissions.
What to submit
Students can submit short stories, poems, artwork or short articles about topics of interest or importance to A&M students. The word limit is 150 words (or less) for all submissions except short stories which cannot exceed 3 typewritten pages.
The following are sections of the newsletter for which we will accept submissions:
- Student Spotlight—
Write an article about a student who has done something noteworthy—have they done charity work? Received a reward or honor?
Provide a link to and description of a student website or YouTube channel—we want to showcase our students’ best work!
- Words from a Bulldog—
Share a favorite quote or mantra that you live by. If it’s a quote by someone else, include the person’s name and explain why this message matters!
If you have your own quote, even better! Share it with us.
- Food for thought—
Do you have a Top 10 list of the best books or movies that you want to share?
Book or Movie review—write a review of a book or movie you’ve seen; tell us why we should or shouldn’t see it too!
