August Essay Writing Scholarships

 Grasshopper Entrepreunership Scholarship

Scholarship Deadline: August 30th, 2019

Scholarship Award: Grasshopper will award one (1) $5,000 scholarship

Eligibility Requirements: Any current college student or incoming freshman enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in a Spring, Summer, or Fall 2019 semester. Student must be enrolled at an accredited American college, university or trade school.

Essay Topic: How is social responsibility important to you as an entrepreneur? How does it play a role in your company’s (or future company’s) mission?

 

The Clubs of America Scholarship Program

Scholarship Deadline: August 31, 2019

Scholarship Award: One gift totaling $1,000 will be awarded

Eligibility Requirements: Any current college student or incoming freshman enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in a Spring, Summer, or Fall 2019 semester. Student must be enrolled at an accredited American college, university or trade school.

 Essay Topic:  Write an essay of no fewer than 600 words about your career aspirations and how your current studies will help you achieve success in your career. Where do you see yourself  10 years from now? Thinking outside the box is encouraged!

 

Achieve Today Scholarship Fund 

Scholarship Deadline: August 31, 2019 

Scholarship Award: Gifts totaling $2,000 will be awarded annually. Each semester (spring and fall) one recipient will receive a $1,000 scholarship to the institution of their choice. 

Eligibility RequirementsApplicants must be 18 years of age or older and a current student of an accredited US university or college. In addition, current students of the Achieve coaching program are eligible to apply. 

Essay Topic:  Competitive candidates will explain one of the following personal development principles and discuss how living that principle made a positive impact in their life or helped to overcome a life challenge.

  1. The Law of Attraction
  2. Having an Attitude of Gratitude

  3. The Power of Positive Thinking

  4. Focusing on Things You Can Control

 

2019 Nicholas Braswell Strong Roots Scholarship and Essay Contest

Scholarship Deadline: August 31, 2019

Scholarship Award:  $500 scholarship 

Scholarship Eligibility: All candidates must be currently enrolled (or planning to enroll) in an accredited post-secondary program, which includes: community colleges, private or public undergraduate colleges, and universities, private or public graduate degree programs, law programs, and business programs. All candidates must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater.

Essay Topic: How is the meaning of the word “community” changing in today’s world, and what does that mean for people who wish to build strong, healthy communities?

 

AutoPets™ Out-of-the-Box Thinking Scholarship

Scholarship Deadline: August 31, 2019 

Scholarship Award: The grand prize winner will receive $1,250, second place will receive $500, and third will receive $250 each.

 Scholarship Eligibility: Applicants must be current students at an accredited university, community college, certificate program, graduate school, or equivalent institute within the United States. High school students enrolling in 2019 are also eligible. 

Essay Topic: In your essay, describe a product or campaign that you could bring to market to fulfill a need in an innovative way. Include what inspired you and your thought process as the idea was conceptualized. Describe why pet parents or animal welfare advocates need it, what makes your product or campaign unique, who the target market is, what the marketing and retail strategies would be, and anything else that might help sell your idea.
