Chinese Courses for Adults
The Confucius Institute at AAMU offers Chinese language and cultural courses for adults, in partnership with the Office of Distance Education and Extended Studies (ODEES). Designed for non-Chinese speakers who are interested in Chinese language and culture, these courses are to help students learn to communicate while traveling in China.
Beginner Chinese Classes
By the end of the course, the participants will be able to master the basic vocabularies of daily communication in Chinese, develop Mandarin (Putonghua) listening and speaking skills in order to understand common topics related to the daily life in China and gain familiarity with Chinese culture.

Beyond Beginner Series
Each semester CIAAMU will offer different courses that will focus on learning different aspects of Chinese language through unique topics. Such as learning expression and vocabulary useful for travel, work or school. Or to learn the Chinese though music, food culture and pop culture. And more!

Examples of culture classes: Calligraphy, Geography and Tourism, Myth and Folklore
