Mission Statement
The mission of the Department of Public Safety is to provide campus patrols 24 hours a day to promote a safe and secure campus environment. Our police officers are trained and certified with full law enforcement powers. Police officers protect lives and property, enforce parking regulations, maintain traffic control, prevent criminal activity, and investigate crimes and traffic accidents.
The Department conducts crime prevention seminars at the residential halls for both male and female students, as well as other groups and organizations when requested.
