The VoIP, or IP Telephony, is a communication service through voice, facsimile, and/or voice messaging applications that are transported via the Internet, rather than the public switched telephone network.
AAMU has implemented a collaborative VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) telephone system that offers a variety of advanced features and gives you the freedom to move your phone from one office to another anywhere on the campus without having to place a service call. Many other advanced features are now available with this system including new functions to support AAMU Distance Education initiatives.
