Mr. Henry C. Hopkins served AAMU in various positions. He was assistant professor of History, Registrar, part-time Chaplain and Principal of the High School of the Alabama Agricultural & Mechanical College (AAMU).
Hopkins Hall was built in 1966. It is a four story, air-conditioned male residence hall. In the tradition of double occupancy rooms, you will have a roommate. The hall has a community lounge, recreation room, administrative space, community bathrooms with individual shower stall, laundry rooms, and a large computer lab.
