Responsibilities:

Keep track of over 50  budget accounts from USDA Forest Service, National Science Foundation (NSF) CREST, McIntire Stennis and State Funded research projects.  Control budget commitments and disbursements through Banner System and Excel worksheets.  Identify any shortage of funding in any line items and recommend realignment of funds to cover the expenditures within established limit.  Assist Principal Investigators in setting up their budgets and year-end closing of their accounts.  Coordinate with Account Payable and vendors in completion of the disbursements or purchase orders.  Assist fourteen faculty, including all FEWP (Forest, Ecology & Wildlife Program) faculty, five staffs, visiting post-docs and several graduate and undergraduate students.
