The Event Center
The AAMU Event Center is a multi-functional 6,000-person facility that is home to AAMU Signature Events including Commencement, the Black-Tie Gala, SOAR, and Basketball Games to name a few. Since its Fall 2022 opening, the building has hosted over 30,000 patrons and continues to change the landscape of north Huntsville. It has been the site of community meetings for Leadership Huntsville, the North Alabama International Trade Association and the Mayor’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion. Positioned on the Hill, the Event Center aims to be an impactful partner for not only AAMU events and activities but to Huntsville and the region.
