The mission, goals and objectives of the Biology program is to educate students in the fundamentals of problem solving in biological sciences through the integration of teaching and research. The program has established a strong instructional and research unit in biological sciences. It is also committed to maintaining a faculty who is always willing to pursuit new knowledge through original research and the communication of scholarly information and skills. Students are well prepared for positions in industry, public and private sectors, or graduate studies.
