A native of Fort Valley, Georgia. Enjoys reading, writing spiritual literature, traveling, and interior decorating.  UAB Health Disparities Research Education Certificate Program Fellow (2019-2020).  Author of “A Physical Examination of the 21st Century Church: A Medical Analogy” published by Xulon (2013). Resides in Meridianville, Alabama with his wife, Tanja Anderson Holsey, M.D.
