Dr. Kaveh Heidary received BSEE, MSEE and PhD all from Syracuse University and all in electrical engineering. Since 1998 he has been with Alabama A&M University, where he is currently professor and Chair of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. His areas of expertise include applied electromagnetics, wireless communications, radar signal processing and engineering, development of advanced algorithms for automatic target recognition and tracking, hyperspectral image processing applications to ATR, and pattern recognition. Dr. Heidary has been the principal investigator of many research projects sponsored by government and industry.
