Alabama A&M Army ROTC is the premier leadership development program in the American Southeast. ROTC provides intense, hands-on leadership training and is included in your college curriculum. During classes, physical training and field training, you will be mentored by US Army professionals on what it takes to lead, and motivate your peers, while being mentally and physically fit. Joining this program will provide you with an opportunity to pay for college, gain valuable leadership skills, and ultimately earn a Commission as a US Army Officer!

Army ROTC is a college elective that allows you to earn a commission straight out of college as a second lieutenant in the active-duty Army, Army Reserves, or the Army National Guard. If you decide to complete the program, you will graduate with a four-year degree and be commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army with a starting salary exceeding $52,000 for active-duty second lieutenants.

ScholaRships Requirements

At the Bulldog Battalion we want you to focus on getting a college degree, not on how you’ll pay for it. The ROTC program offers 2-4 year merit-based scholarships that pay for tuition, fees, books, and even a $420 monthly stipend. We are looking for Students who strive towards excellence and want something more out of their college experience. We want students who are leaders that are ready to be challenged physically and mentally as they learn what it takes to be an Officer in the U.S. Army.
