Alabama A&M Unviersity's Social Work programs invite you to attend this FREE conference. Come hear from experts in the field about how the Opioid Crisis and Child Welfare intersect. Featured speakers include: Judge Martha Lynn Sherrod; Tonita Phipps, Director of Madison County DHR, Mary Griffin, Program Supervisor for the Substance Abuse Program at the NOVA Center, and many more.

Topics to be discussed include Contextual issues Framing the Opioid Epidemic; the Impact of Addiction on Children and Families; Systemic Responses to the Epidemic, and Personal Perspectives: Challenges and Triumphs.

CEUs will be offered for Social Workers.

Lunch will be provided to registered attendees.
