This webinars series will cover the various resources offered by the Alabama Department of Senior Services (ADSS) through local Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs). Topics include resources, such as prescription medication assistance, caregiver support, wellness education, long-term care advocacy, nutrition, and other timely information.

Brief Bio of Presenter:
The Alabama Department of Senior Services (ADSS) is charged with carrying out the provisions of the Older Americans Act of 1965, as amended and works closely with the Administration for Community Living (ACL) within the United States Department of Health & Human Services to achieve this goal.
ADSS administers statewide programs on aging that cover all 67 counties through the Regional Planning Commissions and the local AAAs. Each of the AAAs provide comprehensive services through contracts and grants to a wide variety of local agencies, both public and private.
